During her promotional tour for her new romantic comedy Shotgun Wedding, the star stopped by the TODAY show on January 16 to talk about the big move, which came 6 months after the couple’s big wedding. «We moved in together. The kids moved in together,» JLo said. «It’s been a very emotional transition, but at the same time all your dreams have come true. It’s been a phenomenal year. I think it’s been my best year since my kids were born.»
Destined to be together
Ben and JLo’s union has been 20 years in the making, the couple first got engaged in 2002. They were to be married on Labor Day weekend 2003, but called off the wedding a few days before and finally broke off their relationship the following year. After Jennifer broke up with Alex Rodriguez in 2021, she and Ben reconciled and Bennifer 2.0 rose from the ashes.
