Pneumonia forced him to stay 24 hours in hospital after the actor and his wife arrived at their vacation with a cough. When he did not improve, Richard Gere went to the emergency room, where he was treated with antibiotics.
Recovering at home
According to TMZ, Richard Gere was discharged a day after being admitted and is now recovering at home.
The worst is over
Alejandra Silva has shown her gratitude on social networks and has published a post in which she also confirms the actor’s recovery: “I woke up this morning and I saw the news and all your kind and worry messages, he is recovering, he is felling much better today! The worst has already pass! Thank you all for you sweet messages we really appreciate them!”.
Still in Mexico
The actor and his family have decided to continue their stay in Nuevo Vallarta in spite of the incident.
