Kevin Spacey’s trial date has been set
A date has been set for Kevin Spacey’s trial in the United Kingdom for sexual offenses.
The trial will begin on June 28
The trial will begin next June 28, it was revealed today at Southwark Crown Court, where it will be held for about four weeks.
Spacey was briefed via video call
Spacey appeared via videoconference from an undisclosed location. The actor spoke only to confirm his name and was able to listen to the proceedings during a hearing lasting about 15 minutes.
The actor is out on bail
He has been granted bail before trial.
Spacey claims he is innocent
Spacey has already pleaded not guilty to 12 charges related to alleged offenses against four men, which allegedly took place between 2001 and 2013.
The actor denies all allegations
Last year he appeared at the Old Bailey in London and denied five allegations relating to three men.
He faces numerous charges
He subsequently appeared at Southwark Crown Court to plead not guilty to additional charges related to another whistleblower.
The actor has been taken out of some productions.
He had previously staged a comeback of sorts and was scheduled to star in the upcoming film »1242: Gateway to the West,» but was replaced when additional charges were filed against him.
