Len Goodman has passed away
Len Goodman has died. Jackie Gill, a representative for the former »Dancing With the Stars» judge, confirmed the sad news Monday morning. According to the BBC, Goodman was in palliative care at his home in Kent, UK, and was surrounded by his family at the time of his death.
His representative has been in charge of sharing the news.
«It is with great sadness that I have to announce that Len Goodman has passed away peacefully, aged 78,» Gill said in a statement to the BBC. «A much loved husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all who knew him,» the representative’s message continued.
He had bone cancer
The television celebrity passed away last Saturday at the age of 78. She suffered from bone cancer and it was this disease that caused her death.
A television milestone
Goodman was a judge on »Dancing With The Stars» from 2005 to 2022. He was also a founding judge on the British dance competition »Strictly Come Dancing» from 2004 to 2016. Goodman was also a professional dancer and won the British Championship at age 20, before ending his dancing career to become a professional judge.
He retired to spend more time with his family.
