Carrie Fisher finally receives her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame
Actress Carrie Fisher has been posthumously honored by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce with the 2,754th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
It happened on the world day of »Star Wars».
This honor has arrived on May 4, a particularly poignant day as it is »Star Wars Day» this 2023. Fisher’s star will be unveiled near the historic El Capitan Theater, 6840 Hollywood Boulevard.

«Fans will be thrilled to know that their favorite movie princess, Carrie Fisher, will be honored with her star on the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame. Carrie will join her «Star Wars» co-stars and fellow Walk of Famers Mark Hamill and Harrison Ford on this historic sidewalk,» said Ana Martinez, producer of the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
His star is located close to Mark Hamill’s star
«I am pleased to add that his star is just a few feet from Mark Hamill’s and across the street from that of his legendary mother, Debbie Reynolds,» Martinez added.

The actress, writer and daughter of Debbie Reynolds and Eddie Fisher made her film debut in «Shampoo» and became a cultural icon playing Princess Leia in the original «Star Wars» trilogy. Since then, she has appeared in hit films and television series.
