The demand was placed in 2019
It was in 2019 when the designer filed a lawsuit against the singer.
Infringed the trademark on two occasions.
The lawsuit alleged that the singer sold clothing bearing her name to Australian customers during her tours in the country in 2014 and 2018 through retailers and web portals.
She sold clothes online, the activity to which the designer is dedicated.
The judge ruled that the singer’s company, Kitty Purry, partially infringed the designer’s trademark, which is primarily engaged in selling clothing online.
The designer has been very happy with the verdict.
The designer called the verdict a »David versus Goliath» victory.
Katy Perry and her team have stayed out of the way.
