73rd Berlin Film Festival arrives
The American actress Kristen Stewart was presented Thursday at the Berlinale at the head of the international jury that will choose the Golden Bear of the 73rd edition of the Berlin Film Festival, one of the most important film festivals in the world.
A young jury
She does so alongside the also young filmmaker Carla Simón, 36, who was the winner of the Golden Bear in 2022 for her film »Alcarrás».
The actress feels honored
I’m trembling in front of so much talent,» said the actress in her presentation to the media on the opening day of the festival.
The youngest in history
Kristen Stewart, at 32, is the youngest jury president in the festival’s history.
A very diverse jury
Rounding out Stewart’s team are Iranian actress Golshifteh Farahani, German director Valeska Grisebach, American filmmaker Francine Maisler, Chinese filmmaker Johnnie To and Romanian Radu Jude.
Self-confident
Despite her youth and the challenge in front of her, Kristen Stewart was confident and very elegant at this first press conference as jury president.
Un look impresionante
For this occasion the actress looked spectacular in a Chanel tweed suit with wide pants and a jacket without bottom. Although she said she was a little nervous, the actress is bravely facing this new responsibility.
