There is no talk about anything else, Harry and Meghan’s documentary has monopolized the social networks by all the viewers who, dumbfounded, are watching how they tell their story. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex decided to break their silence and record a documentary to show their truth, the reality of their story, but the truth is that criticism is predominant among the opinions of the viewers of this space.
Although in the documentary we can see the personal side of the protagonists, much of the format is based on one thing: the ‘harassment’ of the press to this couple and also, the ‘contempt’ with which they have been treated by many members of his own family. A victimhood that has ended up abhorring the viewer who, astonished, sees how two people who have been members of the British Royal Family do nothing but expose a constant complaint of the treatment they have received for years.
In addition, in the documentary Harry makes the mistake -to the public- of comparing his wife with his mother, Diana of Wales. This is another of the criticisms that the documentary has received, including rejection by his followers, since the story that the People’s Princess lived is nothing like the one they have lived.
The son of King Charles assures that Meghan left everything for him and, years later, he had to withdraw from the institution to which he belonged for her, to safeguard his love, to protect his family. Constant reproaches to his family and the media for being ‘cannon fodder’ for the international tabloids that do not cease in the documentary.
Throughout the interviews that both have given in recent years in which they made clear why they had decided to separate from the rest of the family also commented on the behavior of the press with them, but the truth is that in the documentary they have wanted to expose a victimhood that, a priori, has not been bought by most of the viewers who have seen the project.
